Jamie Donaldson records a second-round 66 to move three shots clear at the Nedbank Golf Challenge in South Africa.

Jamie Donaldson has moved three shots clear at the top of the leaderboard at the Nedbank Golf Challenge in South Africa.

The Welshman ended Thursday in second place after lightning disrupted play, but the world number 29 hit seven birdies on the way to a score of 66 for his second round.

American Ryan Moore and Sweden's Henrik Stenson recorded rounds of 65 and 67 respectively to remain in contention on eight-under-par, with Thomas Bjorn and Martin Kaymer sharing fourth position.

Luke Donald and Sergio Garcia are six shots adrift in ninth position, while Justin Rose recovered from a poor round on Thursday to post a 67 to reach the halfway stage in 15th place.
