Luke Donald leads after disrupted Nedbank Golf Challenge first round

Luke Donald tops the leaderboard on five under through 11 holes at the Nedbank Golf Challenge after play in round one was suspended due to lightning.

Former world number one Luke Donald currently tops the leaderboard of the Nedbank Golf Challenge in South Africa following a disrupted first round.

Play was suspended until tomorrow morning due to lightning, leaving the Englishman five under after 11, while Jamie Donaldson sits second on three under from 12 holes.

Donald scored a birdie and an eagle from the first two holes, but failed to finish the round after a second interruption caused organisers to suspend play.

Thomas Bjorn joins Donaldson in being two shots off the pace, but the Dane only managed to come through six holes before players were taken off the course.

Henrik Stenson, who scooped last season's FedEx Cup and European money list titles, sits at one under after seven holes.
