Rafa Cabrera-Bello shoots 65 to lead Qatar Masters

Spain's Rafa Cabrera-Bello leads by two shots at the halfway stage of the Qatar Masters.

Rafa Cabrera-Bello has recorded a second-round 65 to move to the top of the leaderboard at the Qatar Masters.

The Spaniard hit eight birdies during Thursday's play to open up a two-shot advantage over South Africa's George Coetzee.

The first-round leader followed up his 64 on Wednesday with a solid round of 69 to remain ahead of a group of three players by one shot.

Englishmen Steve Webster and Matthew Baldwin are joined by Johan Carlsson in a tie for third place, with Tom Lewis a shot further adrift on nine-under-par.

Sergio Garcia recorded a five-under-par round of 67 to move into 23rd position, while world number three Henrik Stenson will begin the final two rounds in 28th spot.
