Fourteen-time Major champion Tiger Woods has revealed that he has "no timetable" for a return to competitive golf after undergoing two operations on his troublesome back.
The 39-year-old has struggled with back problems for several years, and has played in only 11 events this year.
"I don't have an answer as to when I will be back. I have nothing to look forward to. There is no timetable," Woods told reporters at a press conference at the Hero World Challenge at Albany Golf Club in the Bahamas.
"That's the hardest part for me. There's nothing I can look forward to."
Woods, who was named as one of Davis Love III's vice-captains for the 2016 Ryder Cup last month, has fallen to 400th in the world rankings.
