Henrik Stenson has recovered from a poor start to round two to lead the scoreboard by a single shot at the end of the second day's play at the Nedbank Golf Challenge.
Stenson had shared the overnight lead with South African Jaco van Zyl after the first round, but it was Van Zyl who pulled away early in the second with a birdie-eagle start to move clear of the Swede.
However, after a two-hour delay for bad weather, Stenson birdied the 15th to take a share of the lead and then recorded his fifth birdie in the last seven holes to overtake Van Zyl and ensure that he led the board going into the second half of the competition.
American Robert Streb ended the day two shots off the pace and just one behind Van Zyl after posting the best round of the day, a 66, to move clear of Marc Leishman in the chasing pack.
Last year's runner-up Ross Fisher, who has finished in the top five on all three of his visits to Sun City, ended the round in sixth after slipping to a round of 71.
