Justin Rose sets his sights on major glory after his World Golf Championship success in Miami last week.

Justin Rose has said that major glory is the next step after capturing his first World Golf Championship in Miami last week.

The 31-year-old beat Bubba Watson by one stroke to win the WGC Cadillac championship at Doral and climb to seventh in the PGA rankings.

Rose described his progression of titles as "nice" and believes that he has a "realistic" chance of Masters success in April.

"For this little beauty to show up on my mantelpiece so early in the season is definitely a fantastic feeling and it sets up a fantastic year," said Rose, referring to the trophy.

"No doubt about it, if you look at the tournaments I've won - Jack's tournament, Tiger's tournament, a play-off event over here and now a World Golf Championship - the progression is really nice.

"The only thing that is the next level up is a major. I've learned enough along the way that I've a realistic shot every time I tee it up in a major."

Rose will compete in the Transitions Championship, staring this Thursday at the Copperhead Golf Club in Florida.
