Denmark's Morten Orum Madsen and Tim Clark of South Africa share the lead after the first round at the rain-delayed inaugural Nelson Mandela Championship in Durban.
Madsen and Clark carded five-under-par 60s at the Royal Durban Golf Club, with England's Chris Lloyd only one stroke behind along with South African Lindani Ndwandwe.
"It wasn't that easy out there, but I was amazed at how good the greens were with all the rain they had," said Clark. "I made some good putts and obviously gave myself a lot of chances.
"If it is going to be a two-round tournament you've got to go low. Normally you can sort of pace yourself, but right now you've got to be aggressive."
"I was hitting a lot of drivers. I was certainly not trying to play it safe. We obviously can't tell what the future holds, but I do hope we get to play some more golf."
Rain had washed out play on Thursday and Friday, with organisers reducing the championship to a two-round competition that will now finish on Sunday as scheduled.
