United States Ryder Cup captain Davis Love III has admitted that he would like to see Tiger Woods face Rory McIlroy at Medinah Country Club in September.
Woods will be one of the key members of Love's team and the 48-year-old believes that a singles match between the 14-time major champion and the world number one would light up Illinois.
"I'd want to go watch that one," said Love. "It would be nice to be able to rig a couple like that for Tiger and Rory - he would probably like that.
"It would be a great match. I'm sure they both would relish that - we have got some guys on our team that I'm sure would love to take him on because you want to play the best."
The American side will have three debutants for the competition beginning on September 28.
