Defending Masters champions Charl Schwartzel ended a disappointing week in Augusta with a round of 74 to leave the South African with a score of eight-over-par.

Starting the day on five-over, Schwartzel soon lost a shot on the fifth hole, but he was able to claw it back instantly to put him on five-over at the end of the front nine.

However, dropped shots on 10, 15 and 18 completed a forgettable tournament for the 2011 winner.

Sweden's Peter Hanson currently leads on nine-under-par.
