Tiger Woods has said that he is frustrated by missing the cut at the Open.
The former world number one carded rounds of 76 and 75 to finish seven shots behind the cut at seven-over.
"I only made three birdies in two days – that is not enough," Woods told reporters.
"The golf course is not playing that hard. My shots were just not carrying through the wind. It is so frustrating. I was optimistic coming in here. I felt I had a chance to win.
"But I hit a chip fat on the first hole and then hit a lot of bad shots. And the chances I gave myself, I did not take. I have just got to keep on pressing forward and keep working."
Woods won the Open at St Andrews in 2000 and 2005.
