Felipe Nasr 'I'm driving same car as in Australia'

Felipe Nasr says that his Sauber car has not evolved since the Australian Grand Prix at the start of the season.

Felipe Nasr has revealed that he is concerned by Sauber's lack of development and suggested that the characteristics of his car have not changed since the season-opening Australian Grand Prix.

The Brazilian finished fifth at the first race in Melboune, but was out of the points at the Spanish Grand Prix last weekend.

However, Nasr hopes that the low-speed corners of Monaco will provide Sauber with the chance of making the top 10.

He is quoted by F1i as saying: "I'm happy with the job I did on track, but I'm not satisfied with P12. I want to get back into the points but, I think, as we expected, that was the maximum the car could have done and I did everything to capitalise on that.

"That's what we have in our hands now. Our main competitors all made some good steps ahead on the car, on updates, and we are very limited on the package that we have now. I'm driving the same car I drove in Australia – that's the truth!

"Going to Monaco, it is a track with a lot of lower speed corners and that could be a bit better for our side. I'm not creating a lot of expectation, but it might be better than the Barcelona result. Maybe Montreal will as well, given the long straights and lower speed corners play to our advantage."

Sauber failed to score a single point last season.
