Aston Martin has categorically rejected circulating claims concerning the condition of Fernando Alonso's new hypercar.

This week, the Formula 1 team from Silverstone, along with its car manufacturing parent company, proudly announced that Alonso, the two-time world champion, had taken delivery of his bespoke, multi-million-dollar Valkyrie hypercar – "a true F1 car for the road."

According to the official statement, the Spanish driver cruised his Adrian Newey-designed masterpiece "out of the iconic Monte Carlo Bay Hotel."

However, shortly before the media release reached journalists, onlookers in Monaco noticed what appeared to be Alonso's car stranded and later loaded onto a tow-truck.

Tobias Gruner, a journalist from Auto Motor und Sport, commented that assuming a technical issue wasn't unreasonable, given that the "complex electric system is said to occasionally exhibit small glitches."

In fact, a video of the scene showed an Aston Martin staff member seated in the Valkyrie's cockpit working with a laptop.

"But when we asked, Aston Martin assured us that the arrival and departure on the truck was planned and not the result of a breakdown," Gruner clarified.

"The car was transported to another location at the request of the new owner," he finished.
