Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton has boosted his title hopes with victory at Sunday's Qatar Grand Prix.
The British driver, fresh off the back of his win in Brazil last week, dominated the race to move within eight points of Championship leader Max Verstappen.
Having been demoted down to seventh place on the grid, the Dutchman will be delighted with second spot, helped by moving into fourth on the first lap.
On the back of a strong performance in qualifying, Fernando Alonso produced his best display of the season to finish in third spot in the Alpine.
However, it was a poor afternoon for Hamilton's teammate Valtteri Bottas, who dropped down from third to 11th, regained his position, and eventually had to retire with a puncture.
Sergio Perez was fourth in the Red Bull, helping his team close the gap to Mercedes in the Constructors' Championship to five points.
The Mexican is also now only 13 points adrift of Bottas in the race for third spot in the Drivers' Standings.
