Jenson Button secures fastest time in second Spanish Grand Prix practice

Jenson Button defeats Sebastian Vettel by 0.164 seconds to set the fastest pace in the second practice session ahead of this Sunday's Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona.

McLaren driver Jenson Button overcame Sebastian Vettel to record the fastest pace in the second practice session of the Spanish Grand Prix.

The Brit, who set the fourth quickest time in the first practice, came in 0.164 seconds earlier that the Red Bull world champion.

Nico Rosberg finished third in the standings for Mercedes, with Button's McLaren teammate Lewis Hamilton setting the fourth quickest pace.

Fernando Alonso, who topped today's earlier session, fell into 14th in the table, despite Ferrari's recent host of updates in order to improve the car's performance.
