Lewis Hamilton has insisted that McLaren have to keep pushing if they want to have a chance of beating Red Bull in Sunday's Korean Grand Prix.
Hamilton secured third place on the grid in Saturday's qualifying session but he has admitted that they have some way to go if they want to challenge Red Bull on Sunday.
Hamilton told reporters: "It is going to be tough to get ahead of Red Bull. These guys have clearly made a very big step.
"We've got to keep pushing. We are not far off. The race pace for Jenson look good yesterday.
"I'm happy that I got a clear lap and that I was able to put the car as high as possible."
Hamilton is currently in fourth place in the Formula 1 drivers' standings.
