Felipe Massa has revealed that he is in talks with Ferrari over a contract extension.
The 32-year-old Brazilian, who finished in fourth place during Sunday's Italian Grand Prix, is due to be without a team at the end of the season.
"We're still discussing it," Massa told BBC Sport. "This race was important for everything, not only for the contract with Ferrari but to show other teams what I'm able to do. My talent, everybody knows."
Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel won the Italian Grand Prix at Monza to edge closer to a fourth consecutive world title.
