Formula 1 team HRT have failed to find a buyer ahead of the FIA's deadline for entries for the 2013 season.
The news means that the outfit has not been included on next year's 22-car entry list, which was published yesterday.
Owners Thesan Capital put the team up for sale ahead of the United States Grand Prix last month, with several parties showing an interest.
Autosport.com has reported that the team is now clearing its debts before shutting down.
HRT, with drivers Narain Karthikeyan and Pedro de la Rosa, finished last in this year's constructors' championship.
