Ferrari team principal Stefano Domenicali has said that Fernando Alonso drove a perfect race at the German Grand Prix and believes that the Spaniard is in the form of his life.
Alonso won in Hockenheim to open up a 34-point lead in the drivers' championship, and Domenicali believes that his man must continue his momentum.
"Fernando was perfect – not one mistake, not one hesitation, pushing to the maximum for an hour and a half," Domenicali said.
"He is in a great moment and we will try to keep this momentum for as long as possible. In such a tight championship you need to make sure you develop race by race, otherwise you will lose points."
Alonso could be the youngest triple-winner of the championship if he claims the title this season.
