A late Max Melanson goal has given Yeovil Town a 1-0 win against Bristol City in their pre-season friendly at Huish Park.
The visitors came close to opening the scoring on the quarter-hour mark when Jonathan Kodjia cut the ball back towards Joe Bryan in the box, but the 21-year-old sidefooted wide.
There was not to be much action in the first half, save for a Marlon Pack effort which was dragged wide of goal following good work from Aaron Wilbraham.
City stepped it up in the second half and threatened on a number of occasions through Kodjia, Wilbraham and Mark Little, but were unable to break the deadlock.
It would get even worse for the visitors because, in the final few minutes of the game, Shaun Jeffers's break was followed by an incisive ball at the back post to Melanson, who made no mistake from a few yards out to get the winner.
