Wolverhampton Wanderers opt against deal for Villarreal's Alfred N'Diaye?

Wolverhampton Wanderers reportedly decide against exercising an option to sign Villarreal midfielder Alfred N'Diaye on a permanent deal.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly decided against taking up their option to sign midfielder Alfred N'Diaye.

Last summer, Wolves brought in Villarreal man N'Diaye on a season-long loan dealn and the former Hull City player went on to make 13 starts and 20 substitute appearances in the Championship.

Wolves had the option of pushing through a permanent deal for the Senegal international but according to AS, the West Midlands outfit will not hand the 28-year-old another period at Molineux.

According to the report, Wolves could still have to pay a 'penalty fee' for not wishing to proceed with the deal.

Last week, Wolves announced that they had taken up options to sign Willy Boly, Diogo Jota and Benik Afobe on permanent deals after successful temporary spells over the past 12 months.
