Transfer-listed Wolverhampton Wanderers captain Karl Henry will undergo a medical at Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday, according to a report.

Queens Park Rangers are reported to be close to completing the signing of Karl Henry after agreeing a fee for the Wolverhampton Wanderers captain.

New Wolves boss Kenny Jacket transfer-listed the midfielder upon taking charge at Molineux this summer in an attempt to reduce the Midlands outfit's wage bill following their relegation from the Championship.

According to Sky Sports News the 30-year-old will undergo a medical with Harry Redknapp's Hoops on Tuesday morning before finalising the deal.

Henry has made more than 250 appearances for Wolves since joining the club from Stoke City in 2006 and will be Rangers' third signing of the summer following the arrivals of Richard Dunne and Danny Simpson.
