Wolverhampton Wanderers' 100% pre-season record was extended to three games as they got the better of Burton Albion this afternoon.
Burton were the first to threaten and they were inches from taking the lead early on when Lucas Akins's close-range effort was tipped onto the post by Carl Ikeme.
It was Wolves who broke the deadlock, though, when Benik Afobe picked out strike partner Nouha Dicko to tuck home in the 10th minute.

Wolves enjoyed most of the possession in the rest of the first half, but they struggled to create many clear-cut opportunities against the League One side.
Dicko's goal would be enough for victory in the end, but Wolves were close to a second after half time, with Afobe striking the post the closest that they got.
