Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Dean Saunders says that his team needs to push on from last night's win over Millwall.

Dean Saunders has told his Wolverhampton Wanderers players that they need to "build" upon their 2-0 victory over Millwall last night.

The win, which was the first that the team have achieved under Saunders's management, has seen Wolves move out of the Championship's relegation zone by a point from Barnsley.

With 10 matches left to play, Saunders has warned his squad that they need to follow up Tuesday's success with further wins.

"I just felt we were coming into this result sooner or later," he is quoted as saying by the Express & Star. "We have to make sure we build on this and don't take a step back between now and the end of the season.

"The players have had kick in the teeth after kick in the teeth and we knew we had to win that game.

"Now we've won, hopefully we can push on and get ourselves out of the situation we're in. We're out of the bottom three now and hopefully the belief will come back."

On Saturday, Saunders's side travel to Nottingham Forest.
