A report claims that Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder David Davis will miss the rest of the campaign with an ankle injury.

Wolverhampton Wanderers will reportedly confirm that David Davis will be out for the remainder of the season later today.

The midfielder was forced to limp off during Saturday's 2-0 defeat away at Bolton Wanderers with an ankle injury.

While he has not broken the bone, he could still be absent for several weeks with ligament damage, according to the Express & Star.

Should the report be confirmed, the 22-year-old will join Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, Carl Ikeme, Dave Edwards, Bakary Sako and Razak Boukari on the sidelines.
