Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Nuno Espirito Santo has admitted that Adama Traore has been undergoing a "very painful" battle with a persistent shoulder injury.
The 24-year-old winger dislocated his left shoulder during the side's 3-2 victory at Tottenham Hotspur earlier this month but has continued to play and train as normal since.
Reports have suggested that Traore's injury has been with him since his time at Middlesbrough and he has actually dislocated his shoulder three times so far this season.
"We have to be aware [of injuries]. It would be absurd to create circumstances that avoid us to count on players for the competition, but Adama is ok," Nuno told the Wolves website.
"He's in a situation that he has to handle, it's very painful – we all know that – but he's handled it quite well."
The Midlands side are continuing to train as normal despite most European football being cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak.
