Wigan Athletic close to signing Will Keane on loan from Manchester United?

Wigan Athletic are reportedly close to signing Manchester United youngster Will Keane on loan.

Championship side Wigan Athletic are reportedly close to signing Manchester United striker Will Keane on loan.

The 20-year-old, who has made just one senior appearance for United in 2011, missed the whole of last season because of a cruciate ligament injury.

According to twentyfour7 Football, United boss David Moyes now wants Keane to go elsewhere in order to gain first-team action.

Moving to Wigan would offer Keane the chance to play in the Europa League and also join up with fellow Red Devil Nick Powell, who is on loan at the club for the whole season.
