West Ham United reject Fulham Ravel Morrison bid

Fulham manager Rene Meulensteen reveals that his club has had a bid for Ravel Morrison rejected by West Ham United.

West Ham United have rejected a bid from Fulham for Ravel Morrison, Rene Meulensteen has confirmed.

The Cottagers manager was part of Manchester United's coaching team when the England Under-21 player was at Old Trafford, and is reportedly keen to sign him during this month's transfer window.

However, the Hammers appear to have rejected the West London club's advances.

"We got knocked back – rejected," Meulensteen told reporters when discussing the bid.

Morrison's contract runs out in 2014.
