Report: Fulham want Manchester United youngster Larnell Cole

Manchester United's young midfielder Larnell Cole is reportedly a transfer target of Rene Meulensteen, who is now the manager of Fulham.

Fulham manager Rene Meulensteen has reportedly decided to return to his former club Manchester United in a bid to sign Larnell Cole.

The 20-year-old has risen through the ranks at Old Trafford, but despite having impressed for the club's academy, he has made just one senior appearance.

Meulensteen worked with the youngster during his time at United and he is hopeful that their relationship may convince the England youth international to sign on at Craven Cottage on a permanent basis, according to The People.

Cole was part of the United squad, which also included Paul Pogba and Ravel Morrison, that won the FA Youth Cup back in 2011.
