West Ham United 'agree permanent move for Manuel Lanzini'

West Ham United co-chairman David Sullivan has revealed that the club has struck a deal to sign Manuel Lanzini permanently this summer.

Lanzini, 23, has impressed this year on a season-long loan from UAE side Al Jazira.

Speaking about the possibility of qualifying for the Champions League this season, Sullivan told the Daily Mail: "I know it's worth about €12m (£9.4m). And you can hardly get a player for that! We've just signed Lanzini on a permanent deal for that sort of money."

Sullivan's son Jack, who often reveals club news, also claimed on Twitter that the Argentine has agreed to join the Hammers.

He wrote "Lanzini is a WHU player for the next 4 seasons, with a further 2 year option. #COYI."

Lanzini has scored six goals in 22 appearances in all competitions this term.
