West Ham United midfielder Kevin Nolan admits that he was pleased to see striker Andy Carroll make his loan move permanent in the summer.

West Ham United midfielder Kevin Nolan is delighted to have striker Andy Carroll at the club next season.

The England international turned his loan move from Liverpool into a permanent switch in a £15m transfer earlier this summer.

He told reporters: "I'm just delighted to be back playing with him again. I can score goals and he can score goals when we are playing together."

West Ham open their Premier League campaign at home to newcomers Cardiff City on August 17.
