Massimo Ambrosini says that he would "gladly listen" to any offer forthcoming from Fiorentina.

Fiorentina have reportedly emerged as rivals to West Ham United for the signature of veteran midfielder Massimo Ambrosini.

The 36-year-old is believed to be in talks with the Hammers after AC Milan decided not to renew his contract, but Viola are now thought to be considering an offer.

When asked if he would be interested in a move to Florence, the Italian international said: "They are a great club and are coached by a great coach (Vincenzo Montella) with a really serious and intriguing project.

"If they would call me, I would gladly hear what they have to offer to me."

Clubs in the MLS are also believed to be competing for his services.
