Sam Allardyce not expecting more signings

West Ham boss Sam Allardyce reveals that he does not expect the club to do any more business in the summer transfer window.

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has revealed that he does not expect the club to make more signings this summer.

The Hammers have added five new faces to their squad in recent months, including Liverpool duo Andy Carroll and Stewart Downing for a combined fee of around £20m.

"I don't think any more will come in but you never know until that window shuts," Allardyce told West Ham's official website. "Something might turn up that the chairman and I might fancy so we'll have to wait and see."

West Ham return to action on Tuesday when they host Cheltenham Town in round two of the Capital One Cup.
