The agent of Marseille winger Dimitri Payet has revealed that his client wants to stay at the French club, despite being close to a deal with West Ham United.
Yesterday, it was reported that the France international would fly to London on Thursday to hold talks with officials from the Premier League club.
While a potential transfer has not been ruled out, Payet's agent Jacques-Olivier Auguste has revealed that there is still a chance that the winger could stay at Marseille.
Auguste told La Provence: "Nothing is done. Whatever happens will happen very quickly in either direction. We are still trying to find a solution for Payet to stay at Marseille. As long as there is still hope of that happening, we will pursue that as much as we can."
A West Ham bid in the region of £14m is said to have been accepted.
