Mark Noble looks for positives after West Ham United defeat

Mark Noble insists West Ham United deserved a draw after they lost 2-1 at home to Leicester City on Saturday afternoon.

West Ham United midfielder Mark Noble has urged supporters to remain calm after their 2-1 home defeat to Leicester City.

The Foxes opened up a 2-0 advantage at the break, and saw the game out despite Dimitri Payet's second-half goal for the Hammers.

Noble believes that his side deserved to draw, and told fans that there are positives to take from the setback.

The 28-year-old told the club's website: "We controlled the game and had a couple of chances early on and hit the crossbar. If that goes in, it's a different story. There are a lot of positives to take. I know we lost the game, but we played very well in the second half and should definitely have come away with a draw.

"We came away from a massive win at Arsenal and obviously everyone came along and thought we would batter Leicester, but that's not the way in this league.

"We got caught cold by a couple of goals, but we fought back hard in the second half and we definitely should have come away with a draw."

West Ham next face Bournemouth.
