West Ham United midfielder Joe Cole admits that he would love to still be at the club when they move to the Olympic Stadium.

West Ham United midfielder Joe Cole has revealed that it would be a "proud moment" for him if he could play for the club in the Olympic Stadium.

It was revealed on Friday that the Hammers would leave Upton Park for the Olympic Stadium in 2016, and Cole has admitted that he is hopeful of still playing for the club in three years' time.

The England international told reporters: "To be still here in 2016, and have my family come and watch me in a sold-out stadium, that would be a very proud moment for me.

"I'll be 34 then. I keep myself fit and want to play as long as I can because I love playing and I'd like to be playing here."

The 31-year-old rejoined West Ham during the January transfer window.
