West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has insisted that Ravel Morrison is completely focused on his game following a number of off-field issues during the earlier stages of his career.
The 20-year-old's commitment has previously been questioned, leading to his departure from Manchester United in 2012.
"He has taken on board what needs to be done to be a top footballer and it's not just all about being blessed with great ability," Allardyce told talkSPORT.
"It is how you apply yourself, how you dedicate yourself to your profession and how you develop that ability in games of football."
Morrison scored during the Hammers' 3-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
