Preview: West Ham United vs. Wigan Athletic

Sports Mole previews the all-Premier League Capital One Cup tie between West Ham United and Wigan Athletic.

Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez is expected to make a number of changes to his starting lineup for tomorrow's Capital One Cup tie away at West Ham United tomorrow night.

The Spanish boss is likely to give an opportunity to a number of his fringe players, including Ben Watson, Albert Crusat, Fraser Fyvie and Ryo Miyaichi.

As a result, the likes of Gary Caldwell, Arouna Kone and Shaun Maloney will all sit the match out.

The encounter has come too soon for loanee West Ham striker Andy Carroll, who is still suffering with a hamstring problem.

However, Modibo Maiga is expected to be handed his first start for the Hammers.
