Report: West Bromwich Albion to make £5m Jamie Vardy bid

West Bromwich Albion will reportedly make a £5m bid for Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy this month.

West Bromwich Albion will reportedly make a £5m bid for Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy during January's transfer window.

The 27-year-old, who joined the Foxes from Fleetwood Town in 2012, has made 19 appearances for the team this season, but has scored just once.

According to The Telegraph, recently-appointed manager Tony Pulis discussed his transfer targets with the West Brom chairman this week and mentioned Vardy as a target.

Vardy was linked with a move to Crystal Palace in the summer, before Pulis quit Selhurst Park just before the start of the season.
