Tony Pulis disappointed with referee feedback

West Bromwich Albion head coach Tony Pulis reveals his disappointment after failing to receive feedback regarding the display of referee Anthony Taylor last weekend.

West Bromwich Albion head coach Tony Pulis has questioned the decision to hand referee Anthony Taylor a high-profile Premier League fixture this weekend.

Earlier this week, Pulis was charged with improper conduct by the Football Association after confronting Taylor in the aftermath of West Brom's 3-2 defeat to Leicester City last Saturday, punishment that he later accepted.

However, Pulis has revealed that he has received no feedback from referees' chief Mike Riley regarding Taylor's performance, with the official since being appointed as the man in charge of the match between Stoke City and Chelsea.

The 57-year-old told reporters: "What is disappointing is that we have had no feedback whatsoever regarding what the referee feels about the decisions he made, and I get fined and the club get punished, because I feel the club has dropped points because of those decisions.

"You then see that Anthony Taylor has been given one of the top games this weekend. Mike Riley has always said that he wants feedback from the professional game, he has wanted to get close to us as an organisation.

"The LMA are doing as much as they possibly can to bring us together, yet we get no feedback regarding Anthony's performance and not only that, we look at the fact he has been given what is one of the biggest games of the weekend."

Pulis takes his West Brom side to Old Trafford to play Manchester United on Saturday afternoon.
