Alan Irvine: 'No concerns over picking Saido Berahino'

West Bromwich Albion head coach Alan Irvine was always going to pick Saido Berahino for today's game against Arsenal, despite his recent drink-driving arrest.

Alan Irvine has insisted that he had no hesitation in including Saido Berahino in his West Bromwich Albion starting lineup for this afternoon's clash against Arsenal.

It was revealed during the week that the England international had been arrested for drink-driving.

However, despite the ongoing investigation into the alleged incident, Irvine has claimed that he never had any intention of dropping the 21-year-old for the visit of the Gunners.

"It's an investigation taking place away from the club. For the moment we pick our best players and Saido is one of them," he told BT Sport.
