Ashley Williams has paid tribute to his Wales teammates after earning a hard-fought 0-0 draw in this evening's Euro 2016 qualifier away to Belgium.
Chris Coleman's side were unfancied to leave Brussels with anything more than a defeat, but they dug in and secured a valuable point away to the Group B favourites.
The Dragons remain unbeaten in the group after four games and sit second behind Israel, and Williams says that the performance was perhaps Wales' best in their modern history.
"One of the best performances I've seen at least in my time with Wales as a team," the Swansea City defender told Sky Sports News.
"Everyone really stuck to the cause. It wasn't too pretty in the first half but we dug in.
"To come here and get a point and a clean sheet is massive for us. It keeps our momentum in the group, we haven't lost yet. We wanted to win the game but we will definitely take a point."
Coleman's troops travel to Israel in March 2015 for their next qualifier.
