Villarreal 'place Alfred N'Diaye on transfer list'

Villarreal reportedly place Senegal international Alfred N'Diaye, who ended last season on loan at Hull City, on the transfer list.

Villarreal have reportedly placed Senegal international Alfred N'Diaye on the transfer list.

The 27-year-old only joined the club from Real Betis last summer, but the midfielder spent the second half of the 2016-17 campaign on loan in the Premier League with Hull City.

According to Marca, N'Diaye is not in the plans of Villarreal boss Fran Escriba, and the Senegalese has been informed that he can leave the Yellow Submarine ahead of the new season.

Hull were said to be interested in signing N'Diaye on a permanent deal, but the English club's relegation to the Championship ended their hopes of completing a transfer in this summer's window.

It is understood that a number of English clubs are currently monitoring proceedings.
