Pedro Mosquera to become Gary Neville's first Valencia signing?

A report claims that Deportivo La Coruna midfielder Pedro Mosquera will become Gary Neville's first signing as Valencia boss.

Deportivo La Coruna midfielder Pedro Mosquera will reportedly become Gary Neville's first signing as Valencia boss.

Neville, who took charge of Los Che at the start of last month, has not yet been active in this month's transfer window.

However, according to Sport, Mosquera is close to arriving at the Mestalla after Valencia activated his £3m buy-out clause.

Mosquera, 27, came through the youth system at Real Madrid, but made just one league appearance during his time with Los Blancos.

The Spanish midfielder has also since played for Getafe and Elche, before joining Deportivo at the start of this season.

Neville is still searching for his first league win in charge of Valencia, but the former Manchester United defender has the chance to lead his team into the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey on Thursday evening.
