Nuno Santo delighted with aggressive Valencia

Valencia head coach Nuno admits that his side's aggressiveness pleased him in the 3-1 win on Atletico Madrid.

Valencia head coach Nuno has praised his players for their "aggressiveness" in the victory over Atletico Madrid on Saturday.

Santo's players continued their impressive start to the season with a 3-1 triumph over the champions, but Santo is refusing to get carried away, despite hailing his team's performance.

"We have a great football team and we beat the defending champions," the Portuguese coach told reporters. "We showed incredible intensity and aggressiveness, we were just wonderful. The fans will be happy, they saw a good game of football.

"To me it means nothing more than three points. We have 17 points now and, next week, we will hopefully have 20."

Valencia return to action against Deportivo La Coruna next Sunday.
