Report: Emmanuel Adebayor to return to England

A report claims that former Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor will return to England this week as he attempts to find a new Premier League club.

Emmanuel Adebayor will reportedly return to England this week with a view to finding a new Premier League club.

The 31-year-old has spent an extended period in Africa following his release from Tottenham Hotspur at the end of the summer transfer window.

Watford, along with a number of other clubs, have been strongly linked with the Togo forward and according to the Daily Mail, Adebayor is due back in England this week as he attempts to find a new team.

The experienced striker has represented Arsenal, Manchester City and Spurs in the Premier League, while he also scored eight times in 22 games for Real Madrid during the 2010-11 campaign.
