Steven Pressley: 'Leon Clarke exit likely'

Steven Pressley admits that Wolverhampton Wanderers target Leon Clarke is "likely" to leave Coventry City.

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has conceded that he is likely to lose the services of Leon Clarke, with Wolverhampton Wanderers his reported destination.

The striker is said to have been the subject of two bids from Wolves, both of which have been rejected by the Sky Blues.

However, following his absence from last night's 2-0 defeat to Leyton Orient, having cited a foot injury, Pressley has admitted that he has been fighting a losing battle.

"We were let down by an individual last night. It looks more likely he'll leave and he gets his wish," Pressley is quoted as saying by the Express & Star.

Clarke started his career with Wolves back in 2003.
