Former Liverpool midfielder Mohamed Sissoko signs for Ligue One side Paris Saint-Germain.

Paris Saint-Germain have signed former Liverpool midfielder Mohamed Sissoko from Juventus.

The Mali international was presented by PSG sporting director Leonardo yesterday afternoon after signing a three-year deal with the French club.

"For me, it is a huge pleasure to play at PSG," the 26-year-old said. "I chose this club because it is a club with a very ambitious project and the people here have told me some very important things."

Stoke City had previously been linked with Sissoko but PSG snapped him up to become their fifth signing of the summer, following recent Qatari investment in the club.

Italian goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu joined Sissoko in signing at the Parc Des Princes from Palermo on Thursday.
