Sports Mole rounds up all of the latest transfer news in La Liga on Thursday, July 30.
Thursday morning's La Liga transfer talk news roundup:
Real Madrid, Bayern Munich 'miss out on Eduardo Camavinga'
Rennes president Nicolas Holveck has reiterated that highly-rated midfielder Eduardo Camavinga will not be allowed to leave the club this summer.
The 17-year-old has emerged as one of the most coveted young players in world football since breaking into the first team, with the likes of Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain thought to be tracking his progress closely.
Madrid in particular had been linked with a summer move for the Frenchman, but Holveck has stressed that Rennes will not sell and that the big clubs would not be able to afford Camavinga in the wake of coronavirus even if he was for sale.
"To be honest, there's nothing with Bayern. I don't think you should get your hopes up about this [upcoming] market," Holveck told RMC Sport.
"The bigger a club is, the more they've suffered from the crisis and therefore don't expect any big signings this summer.
"If we are lucky enough to get into the Champions League positions directly, that will improve our chances in the market. If not, in no case will players leave."
Camavinga has established himself as a key member of the Rennes first team this season, making 36 appearances across all competitions.
Arsenal consider Amadou Diawara as Thomas Partey alternative?
Arsenal are reportedly eyeing Roma midfielder Amadou Diawara as an alternative to Thomas Partey should they miss out on the Atletico Madrid star.
The Gunners are rumoured to have already had two bids knocked back for Partey, who Atletico are refusing to sell for anything less than his €50m (£45.23m) release clause.
Mikel Arteta may be forced to look elsewhere for a new holding midfielder and, according to AS Roma Live, Diawara is now under consideration.
The 23-year-old joined Roma from Napoli last year and has started 21 Serie A games for the Giallorossi this term.
Arsenal are supposedly preparing an initial offer of €25m (£22.62m) for Guinea international Diawara to test Roma's resolve.
However, the North London outfit may face competition from Premier League rivals Leicester City for Diawara's signature.
