Ryan Giggs reveals that he wants Team GB to compete in future Olympic Games.

Team GB captain Ryan Giggs has revealed that he wants Great Britain to continue competing in future Olympic Games.

There were doubts about how realistic a team comprising players from the separate British nations would be, but Giggs believes that it has so far been a success and hopes that Great Britain enters events in future years.

"I hope it is not a one off, based on what I have experienced and how much I have enjoyed it this week," The Express quotes Giggs as saying. "I hope in future Olympics there will be more Great Britain teams.

"Both Craig Bellamy and I are Welsh and proud of it, but for me it was a chance I could not turn down, of playing in the biggest sporting event in the world."

Team GB kick off their Olympic campaign on July 26 against Senegal.
