Paolo Di Canio is set to be interviewed by the FA after an accusation of racial abuse towards former on-loan striker Jonathan Tehoue.

Swindon Town manager Paolo Di Canio is at the centre of a fresh race storm after allegedly insulting striker Jonathan Tehoue.

The Italian reportedly fell out with the Frenchman, who only made three appearances for the Robins during a brief spell on loan from Leyton Orient earlier this season.

Di Canio went on record saying "He is not as good as I thought he was", before stating that he would never play for the newly-promoted League One club ever again.

The Daily Mail understands that the FA are now set to interview Di Canio following Tehoue's accusation of racial abuse and several of the players are believed to be willing to testify against their manager in front of a panel.

A Swindon spokesperson said: "It's with our lawyers, we cannot say any more."

Di Canio has previously been in trouble making fascist salutes to Lazio fans in 2005.
